I believe Snow-Camp is simply a fantastic idea, opening up snowsports to young people who could only dream about skiing or snowboarding. I have often thought why something like this could not be done for those young people not able to afford to participate in snowsports, only to find it being done on such a scale. I love skiing and think such an idea deserves as much support as it can be given to grow even more.

As Sports Minister I support Snow-Camp because it gives disadvantaged young people the chance to take part in a sport they otherwise wouldnt be able to afford. Skiing and snowboarding are great fun and great for fitness, but what makes Snow-Camp such a fantatsic project is that it also uses snowsports to teach young people life-skills.
